What is a Lash Lift?

Imagine waking up every morning to lashes that looked like they’d been through a few curler clamps and coated with a hit of mascara...all before you put any makeup on. Not only is it possible, but the reality is as magical as it sounds.

One way to think of a lash lift is like a perm for your eyelashes. Unlike a lash extension, a lash lift simply alters the shape and colour of your natural lashes. In most people, lashes grow out, rather than up. However, upward growing lashes will give a more cosmetically pleasing appearance.

During a lash lift treatment, the lashes are rolled upwards and set in place using similar type of chemicals that are used in traditional hair perms.

The treatment involves boosting and lifting each individual lash, before tinting them for thicker, darker, longer looking lashes.

BOOK A LASH LIFT

Benefits of a lash lift?

Although the benefits of a Lash Lift can be endless, we’ve compiled a few of the best.

A Lash Lift will make your lashes look longer with a nice lifting effect, making your eyes look amazing.

The results will last the natural life cycle of your lashes.

It doesn’t damage your lashes but infact, make them appear thicker, fuller, and longer.

This treatment can work wonders on a range of lashes, including, long, short, or stubbly.

With treatment time being only 60 minutes, this can be done during your lunch break.

The best part is the longevity. It can last between 6-8 weeks.

What to expect

48 hours prior to the treatment, an allergy test will take place to ensure that you are not allergic to the products used.

Contact lenses and mascara must be removed prior to the treatment.

Once the allergy test is out the way, it’s quite straightforward!

Simply lie back and relax, whilst we work our magic.

Your lashes will be cleansed, lash shields will then be placed onto the eyelids.

After, the lashes are secured onto the lash shields using a special lash tool and lash adhesive, followed by a lifting solution.

After 6/7 minutes, the lifting solution is wiped away, then a setting lotion is brushed onto the lashes to set the lifting effects achieved.

The setting lotion is left on for a further 5 minutes, and after removing it a lash tint is carried out.

And that’s about it, a pretty simple process, with a beautiful outcome.

What is the after care?

The first 24 hours after a lash lift are the MOST crucial to maintaining those gorgeous results,

and it’s required that you AVOID water (and mascara, as they can cause breakage to the lashes)

Heavy exercising (or anything that would make you sweat a lot),

or showering at least in any way that will expose your lashes to water.

After 24 hours, we recommend you brush your lashes

and apply brow toxx day and night to keep your lashes healthy and strong.
